Kitchen Renovations in North London
Modern and traditional kitchen renovations tailored to your home.
Our Approach
A kitchen is one of the hardest-working spaces in any home. It needs to function properly, feel organised and stand up to constant daily use. Good installation is not just about fitting cabinets. It is about accurate setting-out, careful measurements, and proper coordination between plumbing, electrics, appliances and finishes.
At Lucian Bathrooms, we approach kitchen renovations with the same discipline and attention to detail that defines our bathroom work. Layouts are planned carefully, common fitting issues are dealt with early, and the build is managed in a clean, structured way from strip-out to final finish.
Every kitchen is installed in line with current building regulations, using certified trades and proven methods to support safety, reliability and long-term durability.
Professional Kitchen Renovations
From £4,000 (Labour Only) — depending on layout and scope
A complete kitchen renovation includes careful strip-out, preparation and installation carried out to a professional standard. Where the project requires it, we handle wall removals, studwork, framing adjustments, first and second fix plumbing, electrical preparation, plastering, subfloor preparation, kitchen fitting and final finishing as part of one coordinated build.
Floor finishes, ceiling work, framing adjustments and kitchen wall and floor tiling are carried out before the final kitchen is installed, so the space is prepared properly from the start. From cabinet alignment and appliance positioning to worktops, splashbacks and finishing details, every stage is managed carefully to keep the build practical, accurate and consistent from start to finish.
You supply the kitchen. We bring it to life.
A kitchen only fits properly when the room is prepared properly first
Before a kitchen starts to look finished, the room has to be opened up, measured properly and prepared around the layout being installed. Cabinet runs, tall housings, appliance spaces and service positions all need to work together before doors, worktops and splashbacks go on.
This stage is where a lot of the important work happens. The walls have to be ready, the floor has to be level, the first fix has to suit the kitchen, and the unit positions need to be set accurately from the room itself. When that work is done properly, the final installation feels clean, balanced and straightforward. When it is guessed, problems usually appear later at fitting stage.
That is why we treat preparation, setting-out and fitting as part of the same process. A kitchen only finishes well when the earlier stages were planned and carried out properly first.
We carry out kitchen renovations across Hampstead, Highgate, Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Crouch End and Muswell Hill.
Cabinet positions, appliance spaces and wall conditions are resolved before the final finish goes on.

Everything you need to know about kitchen renovations in North London.
Kitchen renovations in North London typically start from £4,000 labour only, depending on the layout, room size and scope of work. The final cost depends on factors such as plumbing or electrical changes, wall and floor preparation, appliance installation, tiling, decorating and the type of kitchen being fitted. After a site visit, we provide a clear quotation so you understand exactly what is included in the renovation.
A full kitchen renovation usually includes strip-out of the existing kitchen, preparation works, fitting of the new units, worktops and appliances, plumbing, electrics, plastering or boarding where needed, tiling, decorating and all final finishing work. Where required, this can also include studwork, framing adjustments, floor preparation, pipe rerouting and wall preparation so the new kitchen is installed properly within the space.
Yes. We regularly install kitchens supplied by IKEA, Howdens, Wren and other UK kitchen suppliers. Many clients in North London purchase the kitchen directly from the supplier and appoint us to carry out the full fitting, coordination and finishing work from start to finish. We also deal with the practical adjustments often needed on site to make the installation work properly.
Most kitchen renovations take around 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the size of the room and the amount of preparation involved. Smaller projects with fewer changes are usually completed more quickly, while kitchens requiring replumbing, rewiring, floor preparation, wall preparation or more detailed finishing can take longer. A clear timeline is agreed before work begins.
No. We manage the relevant trades as part of the kitchen renovation process, so you do not have to organise separate people for each stage yourself. That includes plumbing, certified electrical works and the internal preparation and finishing trades needed to complete the job properly. The aim is to keep the project coordinated and completed in the correct order rather than leaving the client to manage multiple contractors.
That can happen, especially with supplier-designed kitchens. Sometimes walls are not straight, service points are not where the plan assumed, or certain parts need adjusting once the room is opened up. Where that happens, we make practical on-site adjustments so the kitchen fits properly and the finished result works as it should. The installation should be built around the real room, not forced around a plan that does not fully match the site.
